A few years ago I bought a few of these, and think they're a great idea. The candlesticks are made of cast iron, and can be seasoned the same way as any piece of cookware. I always keep a set on my kitchen table, and use them to compliment my cast iron cookware.
The nice thing about them is they can be flipped around, and can either be used as a standard candle stick, or as a tea candle. When used as a tea candle they can also be used to keep foods warm in place of a sterno.
I don't think there still being sold, but it is a cool little kitchen accent piece to keep an eye out for on the 2nd hand market, and they look great on the dinner table when serving out of a cast skillet.
