I like to both collect, and use old cast iron. Used to have a pretty nice little collection, but lost it all, several years back, in one of those "store room" deals, like we see on TV. Instead of just buying cast iron and other collectibles, I probably should have worried more about paying my storage fees? 
Have been getting that ole itch, again, and have recently acquired a few average pieces. I really have a lust for the old, civil war era, and earlier pot-bellied kettles. Currently paying on what I think is a really nice one that I found on ebay. The seller was kind enough to let me make payments on it. May be paying a little too much for it, but to me, it's worth every penny.
Really like this site, and I appreciate all of the information contained within it.
I'm not only looking forward to seeing everyone's finds, I'm also looking forward to, hopefully, posting my own.
