Need ID for Oval Lid

I picked this lid up last month only because I ALWAYS pick up lids when they are cheap. It was rusty when I got it but after cleaning and seasoning I found a pattern number inside the lid. It appears to be 1302 but it could be 1301 with with a rust spot that makes it look like 1302. The RB and the BB both indicate Griswold did not use either of those numbers. Wagner used 1301 but that was for a 12 quart DO with legs.

The lid is 13 1/2" long and 11 1/8" wide. Anybody have any ideas?

Looking at the handle, it looked like a Griswold hexagon style handle.

They have been known to duplicate numbers. I will check a book that has some p/n from Griswold that are duplicates and see if that is one. Nice lid.

Thank you, D madden.

It appears there are no legs on that DO. Could it be that the books got that part wrong?

I am going to assume that my chances of ever finding the oval pot that goes with the lid are about zero.

O well. Again thanks for the help

The font on the pattern number(s) look very much late Griswold. Past speculation has been that this oval roaster was something Wagner concocted from acquired Griswold patterns, non-correlating BB pattern numbers notwithstanding.
