Plated Lodge 3 Notch?

I picked up a stack of pans for $5 the other day and one was a silver looking 3-notch #3. I figured someone had sprayed it and I just threw it in the lye. I went out to check yesterday and the silver is still there. Did Lodge make anything resembling this? If not, how do I go about getting rid of the paint or coating? Thanks.

I can't say for sure that's what you have without pictures, but Lodge nickel plated some of their cookware. From your description it seems highly likely that's what you have.
