Scalloped Heat Ring Chicken Fryer with Lid

My research tells me this is Lodge, 1930s.

None of the very few examples I've seen on the web have what appears to be enamel on this piece. Also, only example for sale on eBay is listed for $300 :eek:

Can anyone tell if the whole thing used to be enamel? If I stuck it in the electro-tank, would it ruin the coating? Do you think the cooking surfaces will clean up? Any other insight?

Also, anyone got a better idea of value?
