After returning from flea market today my partner showed me what she called a comal.

Yes, damaged but useable.

She then pulled this out of a cabinet.

In better shape.

These griddles were/are used to warm up tortillas and do a great job.

Griswold was given to her by her Abuelita (was fortunate to have met her) and the Wagner was her grandmother's. My partner purchased her grandparents home before it was sold to anyone else with everything in it and she doesn't like to throw things out...

Cherish those pieces John.I have several hundred pieces, but not a single one that was passed down from family. I wish I did.
