Default #8 ERIE Griddle

Recently I found a #7 ERIE 737 Griddle. Was pleased to say the least. Image my surprise to find this last week.

Even so, not as good as Kyle's #11 Sidney Hollowware, but not bad.

So since I have a #7 ERIE griddle, #8 ERIE griddle and a #9 Large block griddle my wife inherited from her mother, can I still say I am a user and not a collector?

that's one of the ones with the size 'under' the handle... I've seen pictures of a couple of those... pretty amazing condition too.

That griddle looks to be in pristine condition. No sulphur putting at all.

Collector status is your call. If you only have 3 pieces, I would say no if you use them.

Is this rare? Is there more detail info in the RB or BB?

not sure about rare... I saw someone on facebook post a pic that they had completed the 'set' of these all with the size under the handle... (7 - 10 I think) I wasn't aware of them before that... but I've seen others since... I think they were fairly early erie griddles... no idea why the size is under the handle rather than on top.
