Orr Painter & Co #8

Came across this gem in May at a local flea market. I was instantly impressed with how light it is. Weighed it & its only 2.5 lbs. Orignally, all I could see was an O and either a P or R on the bottom. Had no idea who the maker could be. After pulling it out of the lye tub, I saw it was marked "O. P. & CO". Haven't found too much info or examples other than I know they were located in Reading PA.

After the cleanup and four coats of seasoning, it looks pretty good. Cooking surface is nice and smooth. Slight bulge in the bottom but it sits pretty flat on my burners. I foresee a lot of bacon and eggs getting cooked in this guy! :-D
