Just restored some CI that was sitting in a shed for 20 years....

Long story short....this is my first ever experience with cast iron. My dad gave me a few skillets that he was using in his shed for storage of nails and screws...I brought them back to their former cooking glory!

Used one last night on some grilled asparagus and it was perfect....cleanup was a breeze. I can get used to this CI cooking..... :icon_thumbsup:

Before and After shots are side-by-side.....Top to bottom: Size 7ish unmarked, next is size 8 unmarked Lodge (3-notch), and last is small unmarked Lodge (3-notch).

I used the small unmarked Lodge for the grilled asparagus!

Welcome to the forums. It won't be long before you're scrounging around junk shops and yard sales looking for a No. 10 skillet...

Post up a picture of the underside of that 7ish unmarked skillet and I bet we can tell you who made it.
