oven cleaner method

Just thought I would show my results from my first try at the oven cleaner method. Will this piece benefit from some time in an e-tank? Also, this might be the wrong thread, but can anyone ID this for me?

3 Notches, small pour spouts, font, thick, Lodge..

If you have an electrolysis tank, by all means, drop it in for a few hours, it won't hurt anything and should clean those extra little bits off. Or just spot spray a little more cleaner and wait an hour or so.

Looking at the identifying page for unmarked iron. It looks like it is perhaps pre 1950's Lodge (no identifier as to the type of iron - DO Dutch Oven). Definitely pre 1960's since there is no "Made in USA" mark. That along with the three notches in the heat ring would lead me to think it is a 1940's Lodge. I have a number 5 that I just came across a few days ago.
