Wagner Bailed Griddle

From looking at your pix and my griddles, I'd say it's the high placement. Good find!

Thanks. I am kind of curious to find more details on the changes the griddles made over the years. Not much info I can find.. Might just order up some books

Here's my offering, 1910 to 1930s I think? Makes a great pizza pan.

Thats interesting the block letter arc would suggest 1891-1910 according to the

Yours has the evenly spaced blocking around the outside edge.

I found another one claimed from the 1930s-50s that has a smooth outside edge similar to mine with an X sort of ridge and an O centered with Wagner Ware within.

Anyone else have a bailed griddle?

Just got my blue book today..

It lists the one I have and the other I mentioned.. how accurate is its info?
Maybe the blocked edges came later? I figured if it was older than mine it would be listed..

The griddle looks great. I have a #12 Griswold LBL bailed handled griddle. Unfortunately, mine is a couple of "bites" in it. It had been dropped. It still works great for tortillas, pancakes and such. I would love to find a #14 griddle in good condition. Of course, the price has to be right.

I've been scouring and read the above mentioned Wagner with the X and center circle. I picked this one up of marketplace yesterday. Looking for some info on it. It is just under 12"
