Default Today's Finds

Hey Everyone,

Found a couple of cool pieces today. Was looking for a good number 8 user today and I found two I liked. A Favorite Piqua & Griswold.

Also, found an interesting gate mark piece; which is my first. Has a little damage in the handle, a hole in it almost the whole way through. Thought it was a neat piece so bought it anyway. I was amazed how light it is. While a little smaller than the other two, it's easily half as heavy. I understand gate mark pieces are early and hard to ID, but this ones has some markings and "feet" on the bottom. Anyone know the maker?

Best part, all 3 sit perfectly flat on my flat top electric range.

Got them all for $48, so pretty pumped about the finds.

I've got that same Piqua... lovely skillet! Nice find on all of them, although I can't help you out with that oldie. Odd little feet on it, huh?

Yeah, almost looks like they were cut off. A lot of them were when they moved from outside to indoor cooking. Nice bunch of iron all around.
