Hello everyone, I stumbled across this site while researching a purchase I made at a thrift store in Missouri. I paid $75 for this, I think this was a good purchase. From what I can tell, since the Griswold emblem is slanted in the lid, and not on the bottom of my baster, they may not be from the same set? Any knowledge you can offer is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

In all probability, they were originally sold as a set. Production didn't stop to update patterns, so all patterns were not updated simultaneously. Inventory on hand was also not destroyed just because of a pattern revision. Consumers back then were likely less concerned with such matters as are collectors today.
