Need help identifying this pan please.

Found this while cleaning my Dads garage.
I have stripped this in self cleaning oven, then seasoned with Crisco.

It looks like it may be from a wood cook stove.
Dimensions: overall 21" x 9.25 " x 1.63 " tall.
Inside dimensions 17" x 7" x 1.38 deep.

Looks like end holes are for a lifting tool.

No markings of any type.

Any help identifying will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Randy Fields

It's a sad iron heater, a common woodstove accessory. Adjacent stove eyes would have a removable bridge between them to allow its installation. Often mis-identified as griddles or fish fry pans. Absent distinctive markings, it could have been produced by any one of hundreds of foundries.

Thanks Doug,
That's pretty much what it looks like to me. Made to drop down into a stovetop. I appreciate the feedback. Not sure what I'll do with it.
Thanks again,
Randy

They make decent griddles, I have one I use on the grill to make eggs and sausage when it's too hot to cook inside.
