Ozark Crescent round griddle

Doug can you give me any information about this griddle? I can't find any pictures of it on google or any recently sold on ebay. I read in another post that you had a Crescent catalog, does it have this griddle in it?

I have a Griswold's Erie with the same sulfur pitting on the bottom but inside it is very smooth. Coal and wood were the two main sources of fuel in that time so a lot of pieces probably have the same type bottoms resulting from coal usage. Nice piece.

Bonnie, that's a nice griddle! That style makes a primo pizza pan, and the pitting on the bottom just helps prove it's age. As I recall this was one of your bargain pieces--excellent restoration.:icon_thumbsup:

Thanks Sharon, I put it back in the lye and this time it came out much nicer. I have been doing some research on it trying to learn more about the Crescent Foundry. I wish I had Doug's catalog, I have searched for one but can't find it. I did get this griddle for $1, that is the cheapest CI that I have ever found.
