Identifying an Unnamed DO

Don't find anything in the "unnamed CI" section that identifies this piece. Haven't found anything in the BB or RB that matches.

All it has is "No. 8" on the lid and the bottom of the DO. Unfortunately, the initial cleaning reveals a crack. Bummer!

Anyone know who made it?

I always thought that style of bail attachment was unique to Vollrath.

Yep, that's a Vollrath. I picked up the same lid a couple weeks ago. Just need to find a pot now.

Any idea of the age?. I know Vollrath keep making skillets with heat rings into the 50s or so. Did they do the same with DOs?

Marked versions are earlier than the unmarked. Hard to say when they changed.
