Muffin vs Popovers vs Cupcake Pan ?

Hello,

I'd like to get a nice Griswold pan for muffins and cupcakes. I'm not familiar with these types of pans, so I'm wondering if there are any fundamental points I should be aware of.

For example, are there different sizes of muffins?

Thanks!

I did find this. Thanks

Of the types with round, tapered-sided, flat-bottomed cups, usually called #10s, the cups only materially differ in terms of depth, e.g. a Griswold #10/949 popover is shallower than a #10/948 muffin. Either might be difficult to fit paper cupcake liners in.
