Chaos Arrows on Inner Part of Lid?

I have a small pot that my wife and I have been cooking for ~20 years that I would love to identify. The only real markings I see are 8 connecting arrows on the inner part of the lid and the number 8 on the bottom of the pot. Any help would be appreciated.

obviously made specifically for boiling octopus...
I've seen this lid before, but I have no idea who made it.

Eclipse was a brand name used by the John C. Kupferle Foundry Co. doing business in St. Louis since 1857. The lid you have was most likely made in the early 50's but not before.

I ran across this very same piece (lid) that was on a DO last year at a antique shop in Colorado where I found my Griswold #14 "bail handle" skillet and passed on it. Wasn't sure until did some research on it. Definitely a conversation piece.
