Default Bacon, No Sugar Added.

Just wanted to put out a big THANK YOU to however suggested finding no sugar added bacon. Found a local meat market that made me two, one pound packages @ $3.85/lb, pretty darn reasonable, I think.

Just finished frying some in my #6 Griswold. Turn burner on, put bacon in, no oil added...no sticking to the pan at all! Oh, happy day!

Default Re: Bacon, No Sugar Added.

I too just had my first experience with no sugar bacon (that I know for sure had no added suger). I bought half a hog from a local farmer recently and the bacon was just phenominal. Threw a whole pound (thick sliced) all at once into a #10 and just made sure it got turned once in a while. Yum!
