Using a Divided Breakfast Skillet

This may seem like a stupid question but does anyone have any guidance on how to properly use a divided breakfast pan/skillet? Varying cooking times and temperatures of different breakfast foods - eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, etc. - would seem to make the practical use of this skillet a bit of a challenge.
 
Several companies made them, but they always did deem a bit gimmicky to me. I suppose I would start the bacon and/or sausage in the large section, then when it's close to done, tip some grease into the other two sections and fry an egg in each. Use a long griddle or shallow skillet for hash browns.
