one down at GW... 20% off sticker.... arrived kind of crusty,
with some animal hair attached. :roll:. Cleaned up nicely... will
season thru usage. Cook surface is immaculate, bottom is
perfectly flat.

Nothing special here , just great quality cast iron cookware.

I'm a real sucker for sub-$10 CI. If it's US made, in good shape and old enough that it's cooking surface was machined at the factory I'm buying it.

I absolutely agree .... My two criterion.... 1)sits flat 2) cook surface
condition. If after clean up they aren't up to speed.... I either give
away or re-donate... thus , purchase price is kind of important.
