Cast iron grain/coffee mill

My husband and I snagged this at our communities transfer station today





Made in Poland is on the handle OB is on the side. I believe it's all there as I searched the pile where it was found and didn't spot anything else.

It is a grain mill. Coffee has too much moisture and will clog a grain mill. From here it looks like the cover over the grinding plates is missing. You might be able to substitute a heavy piece of aluminum foil but that thing would work you to death.

PS: That is a grain funnel but it looks too large for this mill.

Where it attaches to the grinder is snug. Would you have any sites that might sell the cover over the grinding plate

eBay. If you are very vigilant and lucky in a year or two you may find another one like yours where you can make whole one out of two. Any available covers would be attached, or the wrong size.
