No Explanation Needed on This Purchase?

The cook surface is amazing! It needs a seasoning but I think that is all I am going to do to it. No rust. I was super excited to have an opportunity to get it.

Those are a favorite of mine as well, I have one like it but not anyway near as nice as yours. Mine has a lot of sulfur pitting on bottom but a excellent cooking surface. Looks like you found a winner as a collectible and a user.

the 3,4,5 and 8 are all amazing condition... top and bottom.
the 9 has a pretty shallow logo and rough patch on the bottom... but I like the griswold's erie ghost... and the cooking surface is smooth.

I have another 8 that I bought at an auction for like $12... because it was in rough shape... some pitting and a warp to the bottom (spinner)... but for $12 I couldn't leave it like that... cleaned it up and compared to the other 8 it's just a sad reminder of what it could have been if properly cared for.

Those are very nice indeed. The cook surfaces are very nice. I have yet to see any smaller Griswold Erie Slants in this area other than the one I bought. I am sure they are out there but will need to keep looking.
