Default Help with a Griswold for Sale

Hello. New member. Could anyone help. I've always wanted a Griswold and came across this one locally for sale. Could some let me know first off itís real and secondly what do you think of the condition. Not an expert but the w in Griswold seems a little off. I could get this for $40.

Is this is fake or not worth it, can someone recommend a seller or site to buy real Griswold items

It's genuine. That's the later small logo (1939-1957), not as sought after as the earlier large TMs. $40 for a #6 isn't outrageous, if no damage or defect, but one would like to pay less.
