Is this a BSR #14 lid

I took a gamble and bought a grease drenched BSR #14 pan and lid. The pan is a 60s red mountain/century series before they changed the numbering but it does have a "made in the usa" on it. Unfortunately the inside of the pan is really pitted. The outside of the pan is fine. What they did to the poor thing I do not know.
The lid has no markings at all. All the BSR lids that I've seen had a number near or under the handle.
Do you think this is the correct lid?
Thanks,
Mark

ME Valorie,
Every BSR lid I have has ears (except sauce pans). I have an Asian copy of a #8 BSR lid complete with dimples on the inside, but no ears and no number under the handle. One of my first pieces and Doug D pointed out the lack of ears. It is well made, lives in a rack on the left side of my stove and I use it on a regular basis. Just trying to say that if it is to be a user it really doesn't matter if it is a copy.

Use it and enjoy it.

Jack
