Brought this home from Virginia last weekend. 10.75" inside diameter at the lip, 2.5" tall.

Just the sort of skillet I enjoy the most! Unnamed, gate-marked oldies! Yours even has feet, does it not?

Yes Dan - feet, rather than legs. Guess it's a spiderette. They measure about 1/4" across and about 1/8" high, just enough to make it level so it doesn't rock on the gate mark.

It's a cool pan, I wonder if the legs were cut off? A lot of the old spiders had the legs sawn off.

My first thought as well Bonnie. Very nice buy Michael! I don't have any Gate-marked pans yet but I do like them. History that you can use. :icon_thumbsup:

Bonnie - I can't imagine the legs being any longer. They wouldn't last a day, especially out of cast iron. They are only 1/4" across at most.
