I have been doing so much research lately I can't remember how I found this site! It's been very helpful though.
I had been cooking in the same two CI skillets (a pre-1950's Lodge and a new one) for four years. Recently I decided I needed something smaller for omelettes and I was about to order an expensive Japanese CI pan. Then I happened upon a BSR #5 red mountain/century while furniture shopping. It is fantastic.
Three weeks later and now my collection is up to eight pieces, soon to be nine after I go pick up a bizarre griddle this week. I may have a problem.
