Hello from Pittsburgh!

I have been looking for my first cast iron pan and Dutch oven for over a year. Finally found both last night. Picked up a Griswold #14, Wapak #10 Dutch oven with lid, and a newer Wagner chicken fry pan.

Based on research I did, the Wapak might be rare as it has the Indian logo on bottom with correct lid. The bottom is a little warped and concerned it might damage logo if used.

Any information appreciated!!

Thanks,

Welcome Trevor. There are a lot of people, who have been collecting cast iron for a long time, who have never gotten the opportunity to find such good pieces. Congrats on a great find. What part of Pittsburgh are you from?

From Pittsburgh area. This was a lucky find. Older lady had a lot of pieces hanging in kitchen. She was older and said it was time to thin the herd. Really nice people.

I have been looking for a year and have only seen newer lodge and cabella Dutch ovens listed for sale locally.
