Hello there,

What a wonderful group here.

What brought me here is the fact that I finally decided to clean up my grandmother's aebleskiver pan and attempt to make them, but didn't know how to go about restoring the pan. The instructions here are wonderful; the best I've been able to find anywhere.

I'm also curious about the age of the pan. It's a Griswold, with the underside saying, "Erie PA" and the number 962 stamped near the handle. There is also the word "No" on one of the cup bottoms, and the number 32 on the cup next to it. I searched the whole site here but didn't see anything specific. I'll search some more after Thanksgiving - have a wonderful holiday, folks!

Welcome Monterey Bay! This site has a lot of knowledgeable people who support each other. I'm sure you will find great answers and a ton of information to help you with your cast iron (CI).

If you can take a full picture of the bottom and top of the pan, it helps in finding out what you need.

Have a great Thanksgiving! Use cast iron!! :)
