Default Hi All I Need Help Identifying This Item

I located this item last weekend and I need help identifying it and how to clean it? I really like it I know it's not old because of the handles on the side which is silver, do I give it a lye bath or just clean it with dish detergent, it look so good sitting on my kitchen counter. Thank for any information.

Lois

Looks to me like it just needs a cleaning. I use Brillo or SOS pads, lightly, then a good soap wash.

I would say its a Fish Fryer.....maybe Lodge, not sure.....they sell almost that exact thing on their site.

Here is the new Lodge Fish Pan.

You know I was thinking it might be a fish fryer because I have a few of those and they are a bit larger than this one and this one has a lid like maybe a roaster? I don't know but I love it!

Looks like the roasting pan Sears used to give away with some of their stoves.

Very good that means it's old because I am sure that was a long time ago.

Thanks!
