Default french le creuset

gave to us as a present, this set does not get used. it just hangs there
i was told its expensive....what do i have?

Looks like a set of somewhat recent vintage "classic" series pieces. I have a few different size dutch ovens and use them frequently. More info at: http://www.castironcollector.com/lecreuset.php

What to do with them? Why use them of course! At least the dutch oven and the sauce pan. I think the fry pan is useless, much better to have black iron for that. The DO is good for many recipes that have a high acid content (aka tomatoes, etc), mine is a my goto DO for a lot of my cooking mostly due to weight and ease of maintenance. A little lighter than my black iron DOs for the same volume.

Just don't "season" them unless you want a raspberry award from the posters here. http://www.castironcollector.com/for...read.php?t=664
