Default Ghost Marks

What are the thoughts on "Ghost Marks" adding value to a skillet or does it degrade the value?

Ghost marks aren't considered defects per se, so they shouldn't detract from value. Whether they add to value is debatable. I don't think the ERIE ghost I see under the EPU on a skillet I have makes it any more valuable, just only slightly more interesting. The occasionally-seen double or even triple ghosts may make an individual piece intriguing enough that interested collectors might bid it up higher than a non-ghosted example of the same.
