Blacklock foundry start

A google search of Carolyn Millhiser shows that she's very involved in the South Pittsburg community. She has also published a few cookbooks as well as one about the history of Lodge that sounds very interesting if one can find it: From Hand Pour to Automation. According to an old press release I found on griswoldandwagner, it contains reprints of the 1902, 1930, 1950, and 1983 catalogs. Anybody know if the 1902 catalog includes pictures?

That was a really interesting read. Thanks for the information. I got my three notch #7 out and sautéed some veggies in it last night in honor of these pioneers of my addiction.

I spent a week at a fly-in fishing camp with my father and my son in Canada at the beginning of summer. The cabin came equipped with a well seasoned #10 3-notch Lodge, which we used pretty much for every meal. I had so much fun that week that now I'll only cook fish on Lodge.
