Looks like a bsr ...does the lid have numbers and/or letters on either side of the handle ?????

---------- Post added at 07:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:58 AM ----------

Ian pretty sure bsr was the only maker that had dimples on the underside of their lids and also the lid handle would be tapered ...and then 8 and A on either side of the lid handle

Just got home with this. As to the lid it is definitely BSR. The bottom has no markings i can see. it is totally surface rusted. I am going to wait till spring to clean it

I believe the lid and the DO are a match (i.e, both BSR), but even if they aren't you got a pretty good deal at $20.

Looking good! Nice job on the restore!

Thank you. it was quite the process. The bottom sat with rust for so long that it pitted the inside , a lot. I think i got a good pic of the pits. cant wait to do up a # of bacon and then popcorn with the grease. Then ill do eggs and see how good it is

Nice job cleaning.I think the lid is smaller than the one goes on that pot, both are bsr, the lid is century, and the pot red mountain.I have the same pot with same 8A marking and the lid has same marking under the handle:icon_thumbsup:
