old dutch oven

It is really difficult to ID something without having pictures to view. Could you upload a pic or two?
 
Pieces with this unusual "scalloped" heat ring were made by Lodge, ca. 1930s, maybe slightly earlier.
 
Thank you. I`m having some trouble cleaning this one. I have cleaned all my other old ones I have in my oven on cleaning mode. All my others come out with roughness cooked off but this one is still rough.
 
It may not have been polished to begin with. I have seen a few in otherwise good condition with rough looking insides, and some that look polished. Also, cleaning pieces with tempered steel handles in a SCO risks removing the temper and rendering them malleable.
