Help with ID

Is this another unknown?No markings other than the 4. It is bottom gated.Makes really good cornbread muffins.Thanks for any input.

My guess with those like this one that don't say Waterman or R&E is that someone, a foundry or individual, did a recast using one of those pieces. Even though the originals are seen with their fair share of rough casting, the copies are usually uniformly rough. Even some that do say Waterman or R&E I think may be recast copies when their markings are very indistinct.

I like them, too. When I find them in good shape, at a good price, I grab them. It's remarkable, as light as they are, and as brittle, that as many of them survive that do.
