Any Idea What Kind of Skillet This is or the Age

I recently was given my dads large collection of cast iron. Mostly stuff he picked up a garage sales over the past couple decades. I've been having trouble identifying this skillet. Any help would be appreciated. The only identifying markers are a number 3 with three dots above it at the six o clock and maybe a very faint number 8 at the twelve o clock.

Looks like unmarked Favorite. That rounded outside heat ring on a #3 is the tell.
 
Any idea on its age?

There's also a like a wedge shaped outline at the twelve o clock where the 8 is
 
Favorite produced 1916-1934, then CHF acquired their patterns. The outline is where the Favorite, or perhaps CHF trademark was removed from the pattern.
