I have a #22 that has the 954 on the 3rd stick, the D in the 4th. Griswold 6th, Corn Bread Pan 7th, "Erie Penn., U.S.A." 9th. Which variation is this one and when was the approx years made? It does not say 22 anywhere on it.

so yours is like mine.

I have no idea on the many variations... I think the 'gem pan' book is the source that people use for the numbered variations (I don't have that book)
But I've had the same question about other (mostly girswold) gem pans.

YB calls it variation 12, with a rarity of 1 (least rare, and most of the 15 variations illustrated are a 1 or 2). The book makes no attempts to nail down a time period for any variation, and the variations don't necessarily appear to be chronological (var. 13 has only ERIE, not ERIE, PENN. or ERIE, PA). I would guess a variant of the EPU marking would place it somewhere 1920-1940.
