Default #12 BSR Dutch Oven

This 12 is at a local antique store, it is in great shape under the surface rust. The Made in USA places it in the 70 to 80's time frame? I deal with the shop owner a lot and he said I could have it for 32 dollars down from his asking price of 45. I know there is a lot of BSR stuff out there and this particular pieces has a replacement bail. I searched ebay for similar DO's but found nothing that big there is #8 that sold for 66 dollars. Typically how much does a missing or replacement bail detract from value?

Agreed on Lodge. Early 60s to 70s probably. I think this piece is more sought as a user than an antique/collectible, so if not warped/cracked/pitted, and you've got use for it, $32 is a deal. The lid alone might sell for that on eBay.

Good to know, thank you, I may pick it up then as a user. My #8 DO is a little small. I often see CI with replacement bails, how does that affect value?
