Griswold #8 Slant EPU

Found this the other day at what has become my favorite antiques emporium.

1909-29 vintage correct?

probably just a typo... but 1906 - 1929... looks to be in great condition too!

Here's a slant/erie 8 that I cleaned up last week... bit of pitting... not as pretty as yours. I got mine at an auction and it was covered in some very deep, very carbonized crud on the sides.

Lol...I don't remember where the tag is, I think I probably threw it away already. I paid $40 for the pan. Not a great deal by any means, but fair for my locale. I wish I could find those $5 pieces I read about.

$40 for that pan, in today's market, if no damage or defect, is actually pretty good.

yeah, I agree with everyone else... almost any heat ring Griswold in good condition for $40 is a good deal... I've paid $30 for heat ring 3's and your 8 is a gorgeous slant EPU.

Nice. The Slant Erie are generally older than the Slant EPUs correct?

and I just noticed that I never responded to your question... yes, the slant/eries are listed as 1906-1912 and the slant/epus are 1909-1929.
