Lodge 1 Notch Question

At a Flea Market in Florida a Guy who sells only Cast Iron who I always talk to has a 1 Notch #10 pan that I believe is a Lodge.

He also has a cover that is also a #10 and seems to be a perfect fit.
Trying to figure out for sure if this is a Lodge and if the cover is correct.

Both have a raised #10, but would have to check to see if they are identical.

The #10 Griswold you can see part of has some pitting on the bottom but the inside is smooth, he wants $75 for it.

Lodge, I'd call that a match.

Thanks Doug :)

The #10 with a lid should be worth some money but with no name on it he might have to let it go cheap.

I kind of figured it was a Lodge but unsure about the cover.
The Guys English is a little hard to follow but always nice to talk to.

anything old lodge especially with the raised sizes on top and even better being 10's... I'd buy in a heartbeat.

I will be going to the smaller Flea Market tomorrow, I do not know/remember if he sets up tomorrow or not.

Being a #10 it has a lot going for it and with a lid that is a match helps.
I never did ask him what he wanted for it.
I checked Ebay and only #8's with 1 notch seem to come up, no #10.

So having no idea on what to offer I will I will ask.

Him asking $75 for a slightly sulfur pitted Griswold 10 doesn't bode all that well, sounds like he's not totally unaware of values. But I'd be more than happy paying $50 for the Lodge and lid (assuming no damage), or somewhere in that vicinity, more or less.

I was figuring $50 also for the pan and lid but would like to get it cheaper.......
This is the last weekend we will be here so I will have to check it over a little better.
I forgot my steel rule to check how flat the pan is, but I do have a 6' wooden folding rule that might help a little.......very little.

The Griswold #10 looks nice but as you say the Sulfur Pitting brings it down.

Yes I'm very happy with the pan.
This is my first Pan with a Lid, and I was looking for a lighter #10 for Home use.

I also have 2 BSR USA #10 in the trunk to take home which will go to my Nephew for his Breakfast Restaurant.

So I have one more trip to the Flea Market on Wednesday to see what I can find........as long as it will fit in the trunk :)

Your ARC Lodge looks very nice :)

Both of those are very nice. The lid is a great bonus. I have a 10 deep chicken fryer with lid and been on the lookout for a 10 early slant Griswold regular so I can use the lid on both.

This is my first Lid so now that you bring up the subject of a Chicken Fryer Lid I will be on the Look Out :)

We are on the Gulf Coast now but in the Spring we will be staying in Melbourne on the East Coast for a few weeks so I will be able to check out some new Flea Markets.

And I still need to have a Waffle Iron for some strange reason......
