Birmingham Stove & Range

My son-in-law was just given a "Sunny Jim" wood burner, made by the Birmingham Stove & Range Co. It looks like an old incinerator to me, but he wants to use it to heat his garage by burning wood in it. Does anybody know anything about this?

In the realm of vintage cast iron cookware, BSR is often marginalized when in fact their product was on par with Lodge and others. Not much info to be found on that particular model stove, apparently, but the people at this link might be able to help: http://sarahsantiquestoves.com/
