Martin Camp Oven

I found this yesterday. I am pretty sure it's a matching set but I don't know for sure because I am down in Phoenix and don't have my books with me. I have a Martin 10 lid at home that is much bigger than this one. It must be for a country skillet. :icon_scratchchin:

My daughter and grand kids came to visit today and we went to a couple of antique stores. I found this one and it came home with me. The single Martin CO lid that I already have is a 12, I mistaking thought it was also a 10 which would explain why it was bigger than the 10. :chuckle:

I know it's bad form to bump an old thread but this helps to show my progress in my Martin Stove & Range, Country dutch oven collection. I found the first one about a year ago and the collection has grown a bit since then. I found the 12 in Camp Verde, the 14 lid in Texas, and most recently the little #8 right here in Prescott. I picked up a couple other pieces with the #8. Here is the link, scroll down to see more pics.
According to the Red Book they didn't make a #13.

I read your post early this morning and went pickin around noon and came across a Martin #7 "Regular Kettle" with three legs and a different handle type for the lid. I thought I had found one of your missing pieces for a minute.
Quite a collection you've got going there. If I come across any of your missing babies I'll for sure let you know.

Michael, thanks for thinking of me. I don't think that little #7 will be easy to find but you never know. The 8 is so tiny, I can't imagine the #7 would have been a very practical CO, so I doubt they sold as many. I have seen that #16 sell for close to $500 so I don't hold out much hope for getting that one either. I'm keeping my eyes open for that 14 bottom, hoping the seller won't know what it is. I tried the lid on my 14 lodge, it didn't fit.

I don't usually like to bump an old post but I'm going to do it. In this old post I told EdgarLopez that Martin Stove and Range made a #9 camp oven. I based that information on the Red Book that gave a value of $50 on a #9. It doesn't show a picture of one. Has anybody seen one? Was I lying when I said Martin made a #9 camp oven?

A friend of mine just answered my question about the #9, he said he saw one sell on ebay a couple of years ago. My friend found the #13 which was not listed in the Red Book so I guess we know now that they did make a #13.
