My brother who had no interest in cast iron in past, recently was given found by me a late 50 ,s & 1960’s 10 and#8 non marked Wagner. When he took a later interest of cooking with cast iron.
I opened his mind to things outside the box of new junk now unless you spent nearly a $100 or more for quality today. Old school if it didn’t work they would have stopped making it long ago.

I look for myself, slant Griswold Erie marked.
There are so many others out there that are equally as good to find, what you like is all that matters. As why I have a soft spot for BSR. Great skillets and other iron but plain Jane of appearance to collectors. Great skillets to use that’s heavy if need a heat hard for a good sear on a stake.
