That is pretty. Just put my #8 in the oven. It might be my first and last waffle iron:D. It was a pain to clean and season. Have fun. Looks like you could cook for a crowd with it.

Very nice! Great score !For some reason Waffle Irons are very scarce in my part of the world and when you find them the price is crazy. Again, great score!

Thank i like it a lot. I went to an estate sale on friday and they wanted more than i wanted to pay. i went back today and it was still there. got 20% off orig. price

Awesome find Scott. I think these are referred to as "Hotel Waffle Irons". At least the Griswold ones are. I had a Griswold one marked 1907 for about a year or so. I realized that I was probably never going to use it, and it wasn't something I thought would be easy to display, so I eventually sold it to help buy more cast iron, lol. They have a very good collector value.

That IS nice. You can just bend the handles straight at any time. It sure would be fun to use. Perfect for brunch 4/2. Worth big bucks cleaned up.

Thanks Hilditch. As I was doing that i noticed one was loose. They screw right off. Yay!

Nice restoration, Scott! Those look like (or possibly better than) new. What fun to cook food on old iron, especially in such good condition.

I was browsing eBay and say 2 sets of waffle irons similar to these and they were both priced close to $1,000. I don't know if that is a normal rate or not but it must signify how rare they are.

... or they just want to show off their collection but don't really want to sell it. ;)
