Seasoned Pans

Any comments on post 33? Wondering what's recommended for removing what looks like carbon. I know the pics aren't that great :(

Time in the etank will work well on those places. Scrubbing after etank will cut into it also. I've done a few pieces where places like that never completely go away. After a few rounds of seasoning you really don't see it anymore.

That came out nice Ty L. I've reached the point where I wont spend much on a pan with that much rust. I've had some good luck getting rusty pans cheap that turned out good. I've also spent a bit more than I should have on a rusty piece that turned out to be a pitted mess.
