Hi, I'm new to this forum and to CI cookware. I bought this Dutch oven at a swap meet, but it has no markings visible, even after cleaning.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Al

Al,
More pictures please. Top of lid, top, sides and bottom of the pan. A single picture of the inside of the lid is good since that is a fairly unique pattern of drippers, but the other angles really help.

Sure thing. I took a bunch. I'm also new to this IPAD:eek:

I guess I'll do one by one

Here's the cover. I'll take a closer shot

Also, the Dutch oven is very heavy (11 lbs) and has no country of origin markings.

The bottom half looks a lot like my Renfrow Ware DO.

If I'm right, that means there's three different versions of Renfrow stuff

Double cross version:

Hammered version:

Plain version

Interesting.....the inside looks identical to your picture. What about the lid? I can't find amother picture anywhere to cross match my "self basting "spikes".

New thoughts on my Dutch Oven lid. A closer look shows where basting spikes may have been. Is it possible that they were removed? And if so, was this done by the factory or customized?
