My wife said to pace myself because the last few days I have been coming home from work with cast iron. Well, she gave me a dirty look when I walk through the door tonight with 2 more pieces and she wasn't happy I spent more than I have on the others.

Good reason to be single when engaging such an addictive hobby. You may get several opinions but I would suggest hiding them in the trunk of your car and bring in a piece about every two weeks. It could be at your rate of buying the trunk may get too full and then you will have to rent a storage unit to hide them in. May try getting her hooked and that way both of you can participate in the same hobby plus you will be taking out a second mortgage on the house. She probably has the right idea....slow down...get to know what you are buying and decide if it has a purpose. It doesn't take long to reach two hundred pieces but I'm single and have lots of room for them.
Good luck with your collection...

You've come to the right place; you won't get any dirty looks from the collector community. Well done, I say, good finds!

I have been getting some joking remarks about my cast collection growing too. I think I need to slow down for a little bit myself. But then again if I see a good deal sometimes it is hard to pass it up.

I couldn't pass up this cornbread pan for the $4 price. I have know idea who makes it.
