Anybody Got Any Ideas for This One... Chicken Fryer with Lid with Raised Size on Both

I'm still working on it... but it's clean enough to get some pics... appears to be a 'set'... the '8's match... don't think I've ever seen basting drippers quite like this before... dimpled like BSR,...

Re: Care to Help Me Date This Restored Griswold Gem Pan?

I'll just add that the #17 is kind of 'hard to find'... not as much as the #16... but it ain't no 273 corn stick pan either. yours appears to be variation 2... which I would date to the earlier part...

I don't have any additional info for you... other than pics of my #3 that is similar to yours... and then the non-griswold one that I picked up this weekend.

Does Anyone Know Anything About This One?

appears to be a later unmarked wagner... not sure of the time period... but I don't think I've ever seen a wagner like this... only the BSRs.
any 'collectible' value to this?

Re: Today's Barn Sale Haul

yeah I think the 'normal' price on the turks head is around 2 to 3 times what you paid for it.

Re: Plated Piqua Ware

I'm not sure about the toys but they did made some nickel plated pans... so its possible they plated some of the little toy sizes.
regardless the toy sizes seem to be popular with collectors.

Re: Please Help Identify

the lid that goes with it will look like these. (the chicken fryer lids have 'ears' the dutch oven lids don't.)

Re: A Bit of CI Love, It's Beautiful and the Price Wasn't Any Issue...

I'll admit to not being up on my aebleskiver pans... but given the 'made in usa' on this one... is this a wagner made pan from after 1957 that they put the griswold name on?

Re: A Few Recent Fakes, and One Old Find

I was at the Nashville flea market at the fair grounds last month and there was one vendor that had a bunch of obviously fake griswold pups... like 10 - 15 of them scattered around his tables... he...

Unusual BSR Dutch Oven Lid

saw this in a shop yesterday (I didn't buy it... don't need any more dutch ovens) but I thought the basting drippers were rather unusual.. early red mountain?

Re: #4 Skillets

pretty much any #4 is worth $20... the slant erie seems to be more common than the large block with heat ring... but still not nearly as common as all the other sizes.... you don't just stumble...

Re: BSR 7S with Ghost 6

There's a guy who sets up at the Nashville Flea Market once a month (he's from Georgia) who sells only cast iron... I had stopped in and looked at what he had on display (and for sale) on saturday...

BSR 7S with Ghost 6

the 7S markings were visible when I got it... but I found the ghost 6... in an odd position for BSR, after cleaning it up.
