FYI, here is the one I have. Note, the bottom of the handle is different from yours. I think the bottom of the handle on my pan is more "lodge like". Yet, who really knows?

Griswold #9 DO

Recently picked up a smooth bottom large block #9 Griswold "834" DO. Instead of an 838 top it has a 2552 "Tite Top" cover. Does it matter?

To my surprise, inside was a 207 trivet.

I have a #6...

Cleaning CI with Wood Handles

Trying to clean some CI with wood handles attached with rivets. Any suggestions for subjecting the to Lye? etank? seasoning? without damaging the wood.

I remove all the crude off a piece before putting it into the etank. So before it goes into the etank, I wash it with dishwashing liquid and use a stainless steel brush to remove any...
